Helicopter Parenting…

I see this all the time. It is very difficult to tell a parent how to parent their own child, but knowing how “the whole child” grows, so much of the information in this article is spot-on.

“Helicopter Parents” feel the need to protect their child from everything; truly believing that it will be beneficial for the child’s emotional growth. This article discusses that they may be setting their child up for a big disappointment emotionally, mentally, cognitively and socially.
